About the shows:

All our schools touring production have been specifically made and adapted for schools! They are all suitable for all age groups. They are designed by the same team who crafted the dance and drama work as part of the Well Good project currently touring Dundee, Angus and Perth & Kinross primary schools.

We can bring the productions directly to your school anywhere in Scotland!

The audience are encouraged to take part in various sections of the show and get out of their seats to dance alongside the cast.

All shows feature choreography by multi award-winning choreographer Thomas Small, beautiful sets and props, and deliver Curriculum for Excellence outcomes!

Following successful tour across Scottish schools in 2019, we are now taking bookings for November and December 2020!

All we need from your school is a large hall, power sockets and somewhere on site to park our van. We can do the rest! We need 2 hours to set up on the day of the performance itself. We can do a maximum of three performances in one day.

Hey Diddle Diddle

Hey Diddle Diddle is a delightful and memorable adventure show for primary school children based on our original, acclaimed production Paper Moon, featuring beautiful set and costume design by Janis Hart.

The moonlight is beautiful, shining across the bedroom floor as Poppy Diddle dozes off. But is all as calm as it seems? Suddenly, Poppy wakes up to discover that the MoonMoo (the cow that jumped over the moon) has got stuck on the Moon! Poppy’s mission is clear! And she really needs your help to rescue MoonMoo!

Will you be Poppy’s friend at Astronaut School and help her build paper rockets to get to space?  5-4-3-2-1-BLAST OFF!

Join Poppy and her dog Peppy on this wonderful adventure as she launches across the canvas sky, at the speed of light, towards the Paper Moon.

Throughout the show, there are lots of opportunities for children to join in Poppy’s journey through movement.

Production 3:

Isabel 2015.jpg

The Adventures of Isabel

The Adventures of Isabel is a critically acclaimed, immersive dance theatre production for primary school children inspired by 19th and 20th century poetry about childhood.

The piece follows the exciting escapades of the frightfully fearless Isabel as she embarks on an epic adventure, encountering four fearsome foes along the way.

This production is a fable for young and old alike, uncovering universal truths about overcoming obstacles, adversity and challenges before returning to the sanctuary of home.

Audiences are welcomed into Isabel’s garden, to sit in the flower beds (raised panels that reveal treasures throughout the show).  This world is transformed through Isabel’s imagination, and the audience join her on this journey.  The performance is an epic voyage through different worlds and landscapes – water, forest and circus – as Isabel faces many challenges, confronts her fears and learns about her emerging independence. The audience are encouraged to take part in various sections of the show and get out of their seats to dance alongside the cast.

Featuring choreography by multi award-winning choreographer Thomas Small, set and costume design by acclaimed designer Claire Halleran, lighting by Simon Gane and animation by Retchy.

Created with support from Creative Scotland.  Co-commissioned by Citymoves Dance Agency.
