For our classes, we wanted to make our pricing affordable. So, all our children’s classes are £5 per child, paid in termly blocks.
If cost is a barrier, then we have a limited number of subsidised passes to give away. Just email us at hello@shapercaper.com with 'Subsidised Pass' in the subject line to enquire about this.

TERM 2 STARTS SATURDAY 18TH JANUARY 2025. Gilbert is the Guardian of the Books. He’s read EVERY book in the universe! He loves nothing more than embarking upon an epic adventure through his books! Who will he meet next? Will be it some dinosaurs? Or maybe he’ll fly on a broomstick? Why don’t you join him on his next adventure?
Gilbert’s Adventures Through Books is much more than a dance class. It’s about building magical worlds together, you and your wee one, alongside Gilbert. Performance is at the centre of it so there is theatrical lighting, props, costumes and music….and of course, there’s dancing too! The classes is designed to spark your wee one’s curiosity, and a love for reading and dancing.
Led by PJ Hurst, who plays the much loved character Petey the Polar Bear from our Snow Qween show, this is 45 minutes of imagination sparking fun through books and dance.
There is a social cafe afterwards for wee one and big ones to celebrate their adventure
Gilbert’s Adventures Through Books is a parent/carer and child performance workshop for under 5s at Manhattan Works in Dundee.
