Dance for Parkinson’s Fife Hub
Shaper/Caper is delighted to host a weekly class designed especially for those living with Parkinson’s disease and their families and carers. These classes are suitable for those people with no dance experience and will develop participant’s confidence and creativity, whilst addressing Parkinson’s specific concerns such as; balance, flexibility, coordination, gait and social isolation. The session is followed by tea/coffee, cake and a blether!
Dance for Parkinson’s Scotland is a national programme supported and funded by; Dance Base, Scottish Ballet, The Paul Hamlyn Foundation, Baillie Gifford (Scottish Ballet Dance Health partner) and Parkinson’s UK. When and where?
The class takes place every Thursday on the Zoom app (can be accessed via a laptop, mobile or tablet) from 11.30am-12:30pm. The class is free for people living with Parkinson’s and their carers.
Term Dates:
The current term runs until the December holidays in 2020.
