Shaper/Caper is delighted to present Queer & Now, inspired by and touring alongside our award-winning immersive dance theatre show, Small Town Boys.
We commissioned 10 queer artists to create art work exploring the queer experience both in the 1980’s right through to modern day.
The artists undertook training with OurStory Scotland to conduct oral history recordings of queer people from across Scotland to inspire the work in this exhibition.
Queer & Now is curated by Thomas Small, designed by Fraser Lappin, with music by Mark Franks from the platinum-selling band The Overtones.
The exhibition is at Creative Stirling and is upstairs on the first floor - the space has a lift but it’s currently out of order. It’s open all week 10-5pm.
Supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund
