Get creative with a workshop by young creative Harper McBride. Meaning Behind the Fabric is a refreshing, open minded chance to understand the depth of our connection to clothes, a lesson in how impactful fashion is on our culture and a dive into how it reflects us as individuals. Join us as we repurpose old clothes and create something new!
The Youth Advisory Board will talk about their experience curating the festival and you will chance to as them questions.
This is a blended event. You can also attend in-person in Dundee or online via Zoom!

Creatiful is a festival curated by the fantastic members of our Youth Advisory Board! It’s all about bringing young people together to promote mental health and wellbeing through connection and creativity.
Taking place over two days, Creatiful invites young people and families to come along and get involved in some FREE events and workshops hosted by brilliant local artists. It’s all about trying new things and opening up the arts to all, so come and have a nosey at what’s on offer!
Friday 18 November, 7pm to 9pm | Serendipities Dundee

Saturday 19 November, 11am to 5pm | Maxwell Centre Dundee
A full day of fun arts workshops and performances for all ages and abilities with an emphasis on connection, mental wellbeing, and skills development. Prepare to watch amazing work and/ or to participate in workshops lead by fellow emerging young artists.
